MY AUGUST IPSY BAG REVIEW!!!

OK!  How cute is this bag?!  I feel like it is so me.  Considering the fact that I have about 1,000 different lipsticks! (:  I'm so obsessed.  A girl cannot just have ONE lipstick...I mean let's be real here.

The first product that I got in my Ipsy bag was 'The Balm Voyage shadow/illuminizer' in the shade 'Kuwakaribisha' (I don't think they sell these as little singles but I linked the palette that this shade is in).  I have been loving this as a highlight on my cheek bones!  It is so shimmery & pretty & I just love their packaging soooo much.  These little shadows are too cute and great for travel!

The next product I got was the 'Hey Honey Come Clean Propolis & Minerals Facial Scrub'.  I already love this brand & this scrub is super gentle & smells really good.  It has crystalline beads that end up dissolving when you massage it into the skin & it feels super smooth afterwords.

Next I got the 'Pacifica Coconut Blush Duo' (I could not find this exact duo on their site but I did link the single blushes).  I LOVE this.  These colors are so beautiful and exactly what I want in a blush.  This little duo is so cool too because it has a HUGE mirror on the back and the pans are giant as well!  The color payoff is a little light for me but overall they are super creamy and look very natural on the skin.

I also received the 'Sundays nail polish' in the shade 'No. 7'.  This is so beautiful!  I cannot wait to put it on my nails.  The packaging is to die for as well.  I love that this brand is vegan & cruelty free & non-toxic!

The last product that I got in my bag was the 'Clarria Cosmetics tinted primer' in the shade 'Light'.  I have honestly almost used up this entire bottle!  I love it.  I do feel like you need to blend it into the skin quick because it will start to oxidize but overall I love applying it with concealer when I want to have a minimal makeup day.

Ty and I are still on the road traveling...we have been on the road for about a week now & visiting so many cool spots.  It is SO nice to just get out and explore & clear your head sometimes.  I will be doing a travel post soon so be on the look out!

Sorry all of these photos are out of order...but YOU GUYS!  WE ARE ENGAGED!  AGH!  I could not be happier right now. We had made plans for a little get away for our 10 year to camp a couple nights in San Luis Obispo and then go on a tour at Hearst Castle following a one night stay at the Madonna Inn. This trip was absolutely perfect and the actual engagement was so magical.   Now to get to planning!  There's soooo much to do but I am so excited and so ready to do this! xoxox C

OUR 9 YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!!

Hii everyone!  I hope you're having a great great start to the week.  We are still just packing away up here in SF.  Getting ready to move next weekend!  I cannot believe how quickly it has come.  We are trying to fit in all the things that we want to do here before we move. In today's post, I am sharing with you Tyler and I's 9 year anniversary celebration!  It was the most perfect day.  Beautiful weather and it was just so lovely to spend time together. I got us some sweet treats from Susie Cakes a little early because they were too good to pass up.  LOL On our actual anniversary, we wanted to try 'Mr. Holmes Bakehouse' because we have heard so much about it.  And there were toooo many choices. CHRISTMAS & NEW YEARS!!!

Hi everyone!!!  Sorry this post is a little late....but I have literally had zero time to do anything!!!  BUT good news is that I should be done with school in the next couple weeks!  OMG.  I literally cannot believe it.  I have learned so much the past six months and have grown into a stronger and more confident person when it comes to skin care.  I will be sad to leave my new friends but know that we will stay close no matter what (: ANYWAY...lol lets get into the photos! These were all from Christmas Day.  It was literally perfect.  It was just us and we made cinnamon rolls from scratch and went for a ride and then made an incredible dinner!  Oh and cuddled the cats of course.  Very pleased with everything that I got for Christmas too! 10 THINGS TO DO DURING THE FESTIVE SEASON...

I am excited to be writing this post because I l o v e doing fun festive things this time of year and now that it is December...it's going to fly by.  And I would hate for it to be all over and I have not done anything fun! Here are a few things you can do with your kids, lovers or friends this Holiday season that will for sure bring you some cheer! 1. Watch Christmas films!  I mean DUH!  There are tons of great movies out there to watch.  MY favorites are definitely the old 'claymation' classics like Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer & Santa Claus is Coming to Town.  But there are others like ELF & Christmas with the Kranks that are hilarious.  Another great place to watch films like these is on ABC family.  They have a schedule for when they show certain films. PERFECT CHRISTMAS SUGAR COOKIES FOR SANTA!!!

Hi everyone!!!!!  ONLY 4 MORE DAYSSSSS OMG!!! As you can see, I am not excited for Christmas at all. (: This post is one of my all time favorite sugar cookie recipes and they are literally so delicious.  I am eating one while I type.  LOL I love that when they bake, they don't spread and the icing is so simple yet so yummy. Let's get started! You will need: ~1 cup of butter softened ~1 cup of white sugar ~1 teaspoon vanilla extract ~1/4 teaspoon almond extract ~1 egg ~2 teaspoons baking powder ~3 cups of flour + more for when you roll out the dough ~powdered sugar ~milk (This recipe yields approximately 30 cookies-that's how many I made-but feel free to double if need be!)
