HEALTHY & DAIRY FREE LEMON DONUT RECIPE!!!

Hello again!!!  Today I wanted to share a super yummy recipe with you that Tyler and I like to make on Sundays every now and then as a little sweet treat. (: **DISCLAIMER** : I did not come up with this recipe.  I did find it on Pinterest but I did my own tweaks. First things first you need some ingredients!! For the dough: ~1/2 cup + 1 tblsp almond milk ~2 tblsp of honey (any kind will do) ~1 & 1/2 cup of flour ~1 & 1/2 tsp of baking powder ~1/2 tsp salt ~6 tblsp of vegan butter (room temperature) ~1/2 cup of sugar ~1 large egg  ~Zest of 1 large lemon (I used 2 small ones) ~A splashh of vanilla extract For the icing: ~The juice from the lemon you zested ~1 & 1/2 cup of powdered sugar ~Splash of vanilla extract Now let's get into it!! THE BEST HEALTHY/DAIRY FREE DARK CHOCOLATE BANANA BREAD EVER!!!

Hi everyone!  HAPPY MONDAY! :)  I'm sorry for not posting in a while....have been busy and honestly haven't done anything very exciting. lol. BUT!! Today I will be sharing an amazing recipe that you will probably end up using again and again. Fairly easy and straight forward...just make sure to follow the instructions. (: Ingredients you will need: ~1 cup of sugar ~2 tblsp of vegetable shortening ~2 eggs ~3 tblsp of sour milk (if you do not have, just put 3 tblsp of almond milk into a small bowl and add 1/2 tsp of lemon juice and let that sit for a minute or two, and there you have your sour milk!) ~1 tsp baking soda ~1 tsp salt ~1 tsp baking powder ~2 cups of flour ~3 brown bananas (mashed) ~1-2 tsp vanilla extract ~1/2-1 cup of dark chocolate chips/shavings (depending on how much chocolate you want.) EASY & HEALTHY PESTO FLATBREAD PIZZA!!!!

Hiiii everyoneee!!!  Hope you all had a beautiful week and are as stoked as me that the weekend is here!  I have another recipe here for you that is so easy and seriously, DELICIOUS!!! Here is what you will need!! For the pesto: ~Two good sized handfuls of arugula (may have to add one first...blend...and then add the second) ~1 avocado ~4-5 cloves of garlic (depending on how much garlic you want...I looovvve garlic (: ) ~1/2 of a lemon (for the juice) ~1 teaspoon of salt ~2 tablespoons of olive oil ~A small splash of water to help loosen up the pesto For the flatbread: ~Naan bread from Trader Joes (literally addicted to this stuff) ~An egg ~Toasted pine nuts ~Vegan mozzarella cheese ~Sun dried tomatos ~Pepper ~Paprika So first thing is first, we need to make preheat our oven to 400 degrees F.  And now for the pesto!!!  You will need a food processor for this just FYI.  And you honestly will just put all of the...

MY POST WORKOUT SMOOTHIE RECIPE!!!

Hi everyone!!!  I hope you are all having a great start to the week!  Do you ever feel like all you want to do after you workout is eat something really healthy or drink something really fresh?!  Well, I know I do.  (: After I do my Kayla Itsines BBWG workouts, (which I have talked about in a previous post) I like to have a really fresh, fruity and healthy smoothie!  There are countless recipes out there but heres mine! You will need: ~Chia seeds ~Agave nectar ~Almond milk ~Grapefruit juice ~Frozen strawberries ~Frozen raspberries ~Frozen pineapple ~1 whole banana ~1/2 of a lemon (the juice) And that's it!  Honestly, you can add whatever you want or switch things out.  Personalize it to what you like!  Sometimes I just look at what fruits I have and anything else that I could add and voila!  Blend it all together and you have a smoothie LOL.  I do like to add spinach and yogurt at times, but for this recipe, ...

A HEALTHY & HEARTY BREAKFAST BOWL RECIPE!!!

Annnnndddd we meet again (:  How is everyone?!  I hope that the new year is treating you well so far and that we are all living up to those resolutions!  I know I am!  Well, trying at least.  I have been eating fairly well and have been saying NO to any temptations that I have towards sweets and junk and I have also been keeping up with my workout plan too!  If you are reading this and are not sure what workout plan I am talking about, go read my previous post!  This plan is only 6 days a week...which I KNOW sounds like a lot, but on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays you follow a 28 minute workout.  That's it.  And then on Tuesday and Thursday you can choose to go for a 45 minute walk or bike ride and then Saturday is a relaxing stretch day and Sunday is a rest day!  It really has not been that difficult to fit into my schedule and I already feel really good about it.  (: Now let's get into this recipe!
