This months Ipsy bag was designed by Valfre  which I love and am so happy about because it's honestly the cutest bag we have ever had! One of the first things I got was the Nudestix concealer pencil in the shade 'Light 2'.  I am very excited about this because I think it the perfect product for brows!  To achieve that sharp carved look.  It has a really creamy consistency and great pigment. The next thing was the Noyah natural lipstick in the shade 'Smoke'.  I am obsessed with this shade!  Totally up my alley and perfect for this new grey toned lipstick fall trend. (:  Consistency is also very creamy and has great pigment.  I normally like matte lipsticks but I am happy to try this shade on my lips! The next product I got is the Balm cosmetics Hot Mama blush .  I just loveeee their packaging so much.  Like all of it.  It is so up my alley with being all vintagey.  And this blush!  It has such a beautiful coral shade and a subtle gold shimmer t

 These products are honestly my favorite when I have a spot. My skin had seriously gotten so much better in the last couple months which makes me so so happy and people (friends & family) have noticed a change!  Hallelujah! I have started drinking a lot more water which has not only helped my skin, but my constant/almost daily headaches. I have also kept my skincare routine to approximately 3-4 products with the use of masks every couple days which I love. The Mario Badescu Drying Lotion treatment is a clay consistency which will dry up a white head. The Grease Lightening treatment is an aloe gel which is calming and cooling and reduces swelling and redness. The Super Spot Remover is also a gel but when you put it on a breakout it begins to burn/sting which has me to believe it's killing the bacteria and breaking down spot. (: And the Aveda oils I like to just apply because tea tree is naturally very antibacterial and the rose reduces inflammation.  Sometim

It's that time of year again where the family all goes up north to Sebastopol for wine making.  It was soooo beautiful up there.  It just looks like Fall up there...except for the weather.  It gets so hot during the day and freezing during the evening so it is very hard to adjust. We drank wine, went in the hot tub, picked apples, camped and ate food! It's always so nice to just get away for a couple days to relax and reconnect with friends and family. Ty and I drove up to visit my sister Emma this past weekend in LA and it was soooo beautiful and fun! (Burger Lounge...sooooo good) You MUST go here.  It's the cutest thing ever and I wanted to just live there. My gorgeous sister in her gorgeous little city. Any good recommendations of things to do, see or eat in LA?  I wanna go back! xoxox C
