MY OCTOBER IPSY BAG REVIEW!!!

This months Ipsy bag was designed by Valfre which I love and am so happy about because it's honestly the cutest bag we have ever had!

One of the first things I got was the Nudestix concealer pencil in the shade 'Light 2'.  I am very excited about this because I think it the perfect product for brows!  To achieve that sharp carved look.  It has a really creamy consistency and great pigment.

The next thing was the Noyah natural lipstick in the shade 'Smoke'.  I am obsessed with this shade!  Totally up my alley and perfect for this new grey toned lipstick fall trend. (:  Consistency is also very creamy and has great pigment.  I normally like matte lipsticks but I am happy to try this shade on my lips!

The next product I got is the Balm cosmetics Hot Mama blush.  I just loveeee their packaging so much.  Like all of it.  It is so up my alley with being all vintagey.  And this blush!  It has such a beautiful coral shade and a subtle gold shimmer to it.  Almost like a blush and highlight in one!

The next product I got was the Promise Organic nourishing coconut milk face lotion.  I really like this product.  This is the second product I have gotten in my Ipsy bag from Promise Organic and I loveeee it.  The feeling is so nice on my skin.  Hydrating yet light weight.  And I think they do a great job with their packaging!  Apparently you can buy this brand at CVS which I have no seen yet myself, but I may need to take a trip there to check out more of their products!

And the last product that I got was the Mememe blush brush.  I cannot find the brush online, but I linked their bronzing brush.  I like this brush because the bristles are very soft and it's actually a small brush!  Seems to be great for travel.

Overall I lovee this bag.  The bag itself is so freaking cute and all the products are great!

I am excited to be writing this post because I l o v e doing fun festive things this time of year and now that it is December...it's going to fly by.  And I would hate for it to be all over and I have not done anything fun! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

CHEERS! It's a new year!  I cannot actually believe it...it's 2018... I am sad that Christmas is over but there are a lot of good things planned for the new year.  YAY! Some of my 2017 highlights are... ~Getting engaged to the love of my life ~Committing to being a full time esthetician ~Road tripping to Oregon with my man ~Turning 25 years old ~Taking a snowboarding lesson with my sister ~Taking a spontaneous trip to Joshua Tree to camp in the middle of nowhere with Ty and our friends ~Getting my wisdom teeth removed ~Saying goodbye to our beloved family puppy Buddy ~Watching my (soon to be) brother in law graduate college ~Selling vintage stuff at the flea market with my mom and her fiancé ~My dad getting married ~Purchasing a r e a l Christmas tree for the first time with Ty Annnnnd there is so much in between that was amazing too but I can't list it all! 10 YEARS TOGETHER & WE'RE ENGAGED!!!

Sorry all of these photos are out of order...but YOU GUYS!  WE ARE ENGAGED!  AGH!  I could not be happier right now. We had made plans for a little get away for our 10 year to camp a couple nights in San Luis Obispo and then go on a tour at Hearst Castle following a one night stay at the Madonna Inn. This trip was absolutely perfect and the actual engagement was so magical.   Now to get to planning!  There's soooo much to do but I am so excited and so ready to do this! xoxox C

MY NEW YEAR RESOLUTIONS!!!

Hellllloooo beautiful friends! I hope you all had the most incredible holiday vacation.  I am soooo sad that it's all over ):  Not gonna lie. I wrote a post like this a year ago and it's basically just me explaining/describing my new year resolutions to you guys. 1.) Stay organized...I know so many people say this as a resolution, but I want to be more on top of keeping my life organized.  I want to stay away from just throwing things around and not putting them back where they are supposed to go and keep all of my things clean and organized!  So simple.  lol 2.) Drink more water!  It's not that I don't drink water, I just feel that I don't drink enough of it!  I think that not drinking enough water makes me get headaches and makes my skin turn to crap! 3.) OUR 9 YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!!

Hii everyone!  I hope you're having a great great start to the week.  We are still just packing away up here in SF.  Getting ready to move next weekend!  I cannot believe how quickly it has come.  We are trying to fit in all the things that we want to do here before we move. In today's post, I am sharing with you Tyler and I's 9 year anniversary celebration!  It was the most perfect day.  Beautiful weather and it was just so lovely to spend time together. I got us some sweet treats from Susie Cakes a little early because they were too good to pass up.  LOL On our actual anniversary, we wanted to try 'Mr. Holmes Bakehouse' because we have heard so much about it.  And there were toooo many choices.
