MY FEBRUARY IPSY BAG REVIEW!!!

Today I will be sharing my February IPSY bag with you guys!

First of all, I was very sad to see how bland that bag design was.  I felt that it could have been waaaaay cuter.  Like with patches or pins on it or something.  I mean it is February...where's the hearts and pink and red and glitter?
Anyway...let's jump into the products.

The first thing I got was the 'Elizabeth Mott Whatup Beaches Matte Bronzer'.  I have to say that I am very disappointed in the packaging and the size.  The actual product seems ok...I like the creamy consistency that it has and the fact that it's not too cakey looking on the skin.  The actual packaging is plastic.  It reminds me of what you would get your sandwich meat in at the grocery store.  And it is soooo small.  Like it's meant for a doll!  I might use this on my brows or something.

Next I got the 'Promise Organic Nourishing Coconut Milk Daily Facial Scrub'.  I loveee this brand so much.  Their products always feel really nice on my skin.  This however made my skin feel a little on the dry side?  I liked the feeling of the scrub.  The texture is very nice.  It's gentle yet feels like I am really exfoliating.  I have a few of their other products too, I should try them all together!

The next product I got was the 'Luxie Beauty Blush Brush'.  This brush is soooo soft omg.  I love it so much.  It feels really nice on skin and makes products go on like a dream.

I then received the 'NYX Butter Lipstick in the shade Ripe Berry'.  I am not sure how I feel about this...I am not into sheer lipsticks.  I typically like a very pigmented matte lipstick but after I wore it for a night out, I actually applied it to my lips and then blotted it with a tissue and it looked really nice! 

The last product I got was the 'IBY Beauty highlighter in Bubbly'.  I loveeee this so much.  It's so simple and beautiful on the skin.  It just glides on and the glitter isn't chunky which I love!

Overall, not a bad bag.  I always look forward to the next months LOL.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

CHEERS! It's a new year!  I cannot actually believe it...it's 2018... I am sad that Christmas is over but there are a lot of good things planned for the new year.  YAY! Some of my 2017 highlights are... ~Getting engaged to the love of my life ~Committing to being a full time esthetician ~Road tripping to Oregon with my man ~Turning 25 years old ~Taking a snowboarding lesson with my sister ~Taking a spontaneous trip to Joshua Tree to camp in the middle of nowhere with Ty and our friends ~Getting my wisdom teeth removed ~Saying goodbye to our beloved family puppy Buddy ~Watching my (soon to be) brother in law graduate college ~Selling vintage stuff at the flea market with my mom and her fiancé ~My dad getting married ~Purchasing a r e a l Christmas tree for the first time with Ty Annnnnd there is so much in between that was amazing too but I can't list it all! 10 YEARS TOGETHER & WE'RE ENGAGED!!!

Sorry all of these photos are out of order...but YOU GUYS!  WE ARE ENGAGED!  AGH!  I could not be happier right now. We had made plans for a little get away for our 10 year to camp a couple nights in San Luis Obispo and then go on a tour at Hearst Castle following a one night stay at the Madonna Inn. This trip was absolutely perfect and the actual engagement was so magical.   Now to get to planning!  There's soooo much to do but I am so excited and so ready to do this! xoxox C

MY NEW YEAR RESOLUTIONS!!!

Hellllloooo beautiful friends! I hope you all had the most incredible holiday vacation.  I am soooo sad that it's all over ):  Not gonna lie. I wrote a post like this a year ago and it's basically just me explaining/describing my new year resolutions to you guys. 1.) Stay organized...I know so many people say this as a resolution, but I want to be more on top of keeping my life organized.  I want to stay away from just throwing things around and not putting them back where they are supposed to go and keep all of my things clean and organized!  So simple.  lol 2.) Drink more water!  It's not that I don't drink water, I just feel that I don't drink enough of it!  I think that not drinking enough water makes me get headaches and makes my skin turn to crap! 3.) OUR 9 YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!!

Hii everyone!  I hope you're having a great great start to the week.  We are still just packing away up here in SF.  Getting ready to move next weekend!  I cannot believe how quickly it has come.  We are trying to fit in all the things that we want to do here before we move. In today's post, I am sharing with you Tyler and I's 9 year anniversary celebration!  It was the most perfect day.  Beautiful weather and it was just so lovely to spend time together. I got us some sweet treats from Susie Cakes a little early because they were too good to pass up.  LOL On our actual anniversary, we wanted to try 'Mr. Holmes Bakehouse' because we have heard so much about it.  And there were toooo many choices.
